La Fête de la Mirabelle

The first translation of « Mirabelle plum » is the little fruit , softness, and scented who creates each years a parfum of celebration, waited for all people who live in Lorraine. The second translation, is the most waited for the amateur of alcohol because Mirabelle is the one of pride of the Lorraine's heritage. Each years, the Mirabelle plum's celebration takes place in Metz, and appeals to each years, a lot of visitor since 1947. This celebration unrolls between the 23 on Auguste and the first September.
Each years, there is a program, always attractiv, for instance the last years, there were balloons who take off, a championship of France of motorbike, championship of canoe, concert in front of the famous cathedral of Metz, fire with lights, tasting...
And of course, the Election of the Queen of Mirabelle plum! In front of the committee of Miss France and the famous Geneviève De Fontenay (the lady with the hat).
