Meredith Many

Bonjour,

Je suis Meredith Many, une amie de Gérard Gatoux et une prof de
mathématiques à HIES. Je suis née à la Nouvelle Orléans. Je parle Français un
peu, et je suis très excitée pour votre grande visite en Mars et Avril. J’ai
étudié Francais en école, mais j'ai oublié beaucoup.

I am married with one son, John. He is a senior and will go to the
University of Georgia next year. Mon mari is also in school right now; he
is taking classes at Emory University in theology. We live near HIES and I
bicycle to school most days (except when it is cold or raining). We have
one cat, named Smokey, and one dog (un petit chien) named Willie. The
picture you see is of me and some of the math club last year.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and going to the aquarium and the
MLK center with everyone. As we say in New Orleans, “Laissez le bon temps
rouler!”
